• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

The GBA foldingbsystem had a very good hinge. That never did beeak I am surprised that all the DS systems are not holding up other than the 3DS XL. I think it is because the parts are assembled in China and not assembled in the U.S.A. When assembled in China the parts are not well made and were...

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

What I was saying is there is no way to protect the screens like with the 3DS. The 3DS XL is a lot more durable than the plain 3DS and the hinges are well made on the XL. They are way better than the DSL hinges by a long shot XD. They are solid all the way across so it is one big solid hinge XD.:)

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

Oh you probably don't have the 3DS XL like I do. Those are actually better than the original 3DS. the 2DS has a flaw. If dropped on the screen side the screens can crack and that I know does not take much. On my DSL it landed on the plug once broke the hinge and made a very small scrach and I...

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

I don't have those problems either XD. The most I have done which did not hurt the system at all is drop it on our living-room rug but nothing like hitting it on a wall or loose hinges. The thing to do is put your system on your lap and slowly open it like your laptop. That is how you are...

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

Now that this one is coming oyt to upgrade to 3D will only cost $40.00 VS $90.00 if you have the $80.00 DSL. If younhave a DSi it is $40.00 to upgrade as well. The downside is the 2DS does not close so if dropped on the screen side they can easily be broken and it is not versitile so you can...

    Nintendo announces Nintendo 2DS

Ninrendo sort of went backwards on this one. Sure it might be cheaper and more affordable but the 3D can be disabled in the Parental controls of the settings. They could have dropped the price of the 3DS rather than dropping theprice of the Wii U. That is my opinion anyway XD.:)
